Make sure that the connection speed of your Quicktime plug-in is properly adjusted.

1. select Plug-in Settings on the right side of the control bar of the QuickTime movie
2. click on the Connection Speeds button in the window that pops up
3. select the modem or connection speed that you use
4. save settings and close window
5. reload the page with the movie to play at your connection speed

Note: If you would like to decrease the movie download time then set your connection speed to less than what you actually have, but remember this reduces the quality of the movie.
If you would like to increase the quality of the movie then set your connection speed to higher than it actually is, but remember this will increase your download time.
